Our Members’ Day to which all Members, Associates and families are invited was held on 25th September at Thruxton Motor Racing Circuit this year. Both Car and Motorcycle members got together to enjoy the competition on the Go-Kart Track and displaying their skills on the Skid-Pan.
Congratulations to the Bob Mack, Sean Pearce and
Mark Smith (one of our local examiners !) for making the Podium.
On the Skid-Pan a Mini was used for Front Wheel Drive and a Toyota GT86 for a Rear Wheel Drive.
Peter Caton our President said “I may have missed out in the Karting, but I think I can claim to be the only person who managed to drive the Toyota without losing it in a spin !”.
